Terms of service

The service

Loopster connects to mailboxes you control, copies recent mail into your workspace, learns how you write from messages you have sent, and prepares reply drafts for review. Sending happens only after a signed-in member of your organisation explicitly confirms a specific draft. Loopster is a drafting layer on top of your mail provider: it is not a mail host, it does not replace your provider's terms, and it does not guarantee the accuracy or tone of a generated draft.

Who may use it

The service is offered to businesses and professional users, not for private consumer use. By accepting these terms you confirm that you are authorised to connect the mailboxes you add, and that you have the organisation's authority to accept these terms and the privacy policy on its behalf.

Your responsibilities

  • Review every draft before it is sent. The confirmation step exists because generated text can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate.
  • Keep your own agreements in order: your Google Workspace or IMAP provider terms, your organisation's policies, and any lawful basis for the mail you ask us to copy and answer.
  • Provide and protect the AI provider keys you configure. Usage costs with those providers are yours, and we store the keys encrypted on your instructions.
  • Do not use the service to send unsolicited bulk mail, to impersonate someone you are not, or in breach of anti-spam, marketing or data protection law.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to probe, overload or bypass the service's security or tenant isolation, do not resell or white-label it without an agreement, do not use it to process mail you have no right to access, and do not use it for unlawful content. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe there is a security risk, misuse, or a breach of these terms.

Quotas and fair use

To keep the platform predictable we apply operational limits, such as the number of mailboxes and drafts processed per scheduled run, the daily drafting cap and the sync window. Limits are visible in the app where they apply and may be adjusted as the service grows.

Fees

The service is currently provided without charge. If we introduce paid plans we will publish the prices, the billing period and the terms before any charge is taken, give advance notice in the app, and continue to offer a way to stop using the service.

Availability and support

We work to keep Loopster available, but the service depends on third parties including your mail provider, Cloudflare, Clerk, Google and the AI providers you configure. Outages, quota changes and API changes on those services can interrupt syncing, drafting or sending. Support: support@loopster.email.

Term and termination

These terms apply while you use the service. You can stop at any time by disconnecting your mailboxes and asking us to delete your organisation's data. We may terminate or suspend access for a material breach, for non-payment once fees exist, or where continuing would put the platform or other customers at risk. On termination we delete or return data as described in the data processing addendum.

Data and intellectual property

Your mail, your content and the drafts prepared for you remain yours. We own the platform, its software and its design. You grant us the licence we need to process your content for the sole purpose of running the service for you, as described in the privacy policy and the DPA.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care, but it is provided without further warranties, and we are not responsible for decisions you take on the basis of a draft, or for content you approve and send. To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred pounds, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. These terms exclude liability only for the service itself: nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. The version on this page, dated at the top, is the current one; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer or data protection rights you may have where you are established.
